Answers:
Vanilla extract is made from vanilla beans (seeds) soaked in alcohol!. Essentially, it is the same as adding a teaspoon of flavored alcohol to your dish!. It is neither good for one, nor bad for one - unless the eater is highly allergic to either vanilla or alcohol!. If the dish is being cooked after the addition of the vanilla extract, the alcohol will largely burn off - but not entirely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

in recipes the amount it so small that it doesn't matter!. vanilla is in lots of things!. If you sat down and drank the entire bottle you'd have a problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well vanilla extract been told to have this type of alcohol in it but when it is baked it evaporate!. but too much is bad so tahts why they call for a teaspoon!.
