Skip the ice, freeze your banana or add in frozen fruit!. Use just enough milk to cover the fruit in the blender!. Vanilla is nice and I also use a bit of honey to sweeten it!. but just dont use too much milk!.!.!. remember you can always add more, but you can't take awayWww@FoodAQ@Com
First - Chop and freeze the banana (you can also add other frozen fruit to enhance the flavor but not overpower it)!. Use 1-2 cups depending how large of a smoothie you want!.
Second - Save the ice for juice based smoothies!. Don't use it with dairy!. As the ice melts, it makes the smoothie watery and takes away from the flavor!. Plus, the frozen fruit will eliminate the need for ice!.
Third - Instead of vanilla, use plain or flavored low or non-fat yogurt!. This will enhance the flavor and thicken the smoothie (I like strawberry-banana)!.
Fourth - Strictly personal preference!.!.!. Try soymilk in place of the milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

WAY too much milk!. You only need about 1 to 1-1/2 c!. of milk, or even juice!. You could also add some other cut-up fruit with the banana; and frozen fruit will take the place of some of the ice!. You can add yogurt or ice cream tooWww@FoodAQ@Com
You can add more bananas if you want, but i'd suggest frozen yogurt, or vanilla ice cream and much less milk!. Sometimes i use cream instead of milk even and it's really good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
More fruit usually makes it thicker!. try another bannana!. also, add another tbs of vanilla for a better taste!. you should also try a bit less ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
