Icing for my cake, need some help?!

Question: Icing for my cake, need some help!?
Well, I made 2 really delicious chocolate cakes in a bun pan!. They are low fat and so good! However, I have been trying to make the glaze for the top!. Milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar but I just can not get it right! It takes like pure powdered sugar and kind of has a black pepper taste!. Does anyone have a nice glaze recipe with milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar or even something with lemon juice!.!.anything! Thanks in advance and if anyone wants the recipe feel free to e-mail me!.!.!.it's so good!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I'm not sure why it would taste like pepper:) !.!.!.!. Start with 1 cup powdered sugar, whisking liquid in (wire whisk) about 1 TB at a time!. You can put the 1/2 tsp vanilla in too, but lemon or almond would also be good!. Just keep adding liquid gradually, as you whisk, until spreading consistency!. I rarely use milk, but will use fruit juice, lemon juice, brandy, triple sec, or whatever else I have around:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
