Does anyone know a good recipe for an old east end pub curry?!


Question: Does anyone know a good recipe for an old east end pub curry!?
I want to make a curry but not like the ones they have in asia, the ones that you can get at England pubs (more east end pubs)Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 breasts dices chicken
1/2 lb!. thinly sliced mushrooms
3 chopped onions
1 tablespoon oil or margarine
3 tablespoons flour
1 chicken bouillon cube
4 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1 cup finely chopped granny smith apple,Optional raisins, chutney, and bacon bits!.
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3/4 cup milk
1 cup water
Cooked rice


Directions:
In large skillet, saute; chicken, mushrooms, and onion in oil or until chicken is lightly browned on all sides!. Stir in flour, bouillon cube, salt and curry powder!. Add apples, raisins, chutney, bacon bits and parsley, then pour in milk and water!. Simmer, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes or until apple pieces are tender!. Serve over rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
