I need a quick easy breakfast type recipe to serve to a group of 8 plus kids?!
Hi, I am hosting a playgroup at my house and need to serve some snacks!. It's a 10:00 a!.m!. I usually take the easy route and get bagels or something with no cooking required, but it is also my daughter's first birthday and I wanted to serve something special!. Maybe mini muffins for kids!? Okay two things!. One is to take sausage and remove the casing!. (you could use turkey or chicken sausage if you'd like) or use bacon!. Cook it!. Drain the fat!. Put some shredded hash browns (frozen section, they come shoestring style) in the bottom of a 13*9'' baking dish!. put the bacon/ sausage on top!. Whisk together about ten eggs with a little milk!. Pour over the top and top with cheese!. Bake @ 350* until eggs are done!. Slice and serve!.

FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE
1 loaf French bread (13 to 16 ounces)
8 large eggs
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Dash salt
Maple syrup
Directions
Slice French bread into 20 slices, 1-inch each!. (Use any extra bread for garlic toast or bread crumbs)!. Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9 by 13-inch flat baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping the slices!. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, half-and-half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and beat with a rotary beater or whisk until blended but not too bubbly!. Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure all are covered evenly with the milk-egg mixture!. Spoon some of the mixture in between the slices!. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight!.
The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.
bake for 40 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden!. Serve with maple syrup!.

Mix vanilla, milk, egg, and cinnamin together!. Dip bread slices and cook as french toast!. Slice the bread into peices and let the kids dip them into jelly or syrup!. Fruit is also a good idea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you like pull-aparts you'll love this no effort, gooey, cinnamony recipe!. It is from the "Companie's Coming Christmas Cookbook"
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
20 frozen white bread rolls dough
1/2 cup almonds, blanched and sliced
1/2 cup glace cherries, cut in half
1/3 cup corn syrup
Directions
1Stir together the cinnamon and the sugar!.
2Dip frozen rolls in the melted butter!.
3Roll each in the sugar mixture!.
4Grease a 10" (12 cup) bundt pan or similar ring pan!.
5Sprinkle with half the almonds& half the cherries!.
6Place frozen rolls in the bundt pan spaced evenly!.
7Do this again with the remaining cherries and almonds!.
8Mix together the syrup& remaining butter!. Drizzle over the top!.
9Cover with a damp tea towel and let rise for 6-8 hrs or let them stand overnight Bake in 350F oven for around 30 minutes, let stand 5 minutes then turn out onto a plate Serve

1/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup milk or rice milk or soymilk
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1Put all in saucepan!.
2Bring to a boil!.
3Simmer, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or till of desired consistancy!.
4For Vegan use either the rice milk or soy milk

2 cups dry chicken stove top stuffing mix (from the canister)
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups cubed ham (or use Bob Evans Sausage, cooked, drained well, and crumbled)
6 eggs, beaten
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt

1Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9 x 12 baking dish!.
2Mix all the ingredients together!.
3Pour into prepared baking dish!.
4Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until set

These are fantastic all-in-one breakfast biscuits!. I have made these the night before and just warmed them up in the morning for a hot bite while on the run!. Kids love 'em and they are way easy!. I hope you enjoy them!.
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated biscuits, 8 count roll,do not use the butter flavor,makes the biscuits too greasy,generic biscuits work like a
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups browned jimmy dean sage sausage,
3 cups eggs, mixed with
1/4 cup milk
2 cup shredded cheese
1Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit!.
2Lightly spray muffin tin with cooking spray!.
3Gently pull biscuit dough apart to divide into two separate biscuits!.
4(You may have to cut some doughs if they do not pull apart easily)!.
5Lightly sprinkle a flat surface with flour; dust rolling pin with flour; and gently roll halved biscuit dough to twice its size, about 4 inches across!.
6Line 16 individual muffin tins with prepared, rolled dough!.
7Place about 1/3 cup of egg/milk mixture into each shell!.
8Sprinkle 3 TBSP of sausage and 3 TBSP of shredded cheese into the eggs in each shell!.
9Gently fold over the excess dough around the top of each muffin tin!.
10Place in oven and bake about 30-40 minutes or until tops are light golden brown!.
