Answers:
When I was a veg head, I ate rice all the time!. I would put a slice of cheese and some fresh veggies in it before it was done cooking!.

To make flavored rice, buy boullion cubes or use chicken/beef stock when making it!. also, adding fresh basil leaves, or chives flavor the rice nicely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should absolutely venture Tabbouleh, Couscous, or wild rice salad recipes, or use as bases for any veggie or protein you desire! I've never dieted, but know these to be healthy!. I do cook for carnivours at home, so fully understand "meats"!. Seafood is a great healthy non-fatty alternative, and can be used in so many ways!.

I will post a few recipes tomorrow if you are interested !.!.!. they are delicious, nutritious, and totally feel good foods!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are determined to loose weight, i would recommend that you definitely use brown rice!. I would stick to eating rice with mostly lean meats such as turkey and chicken (occasionally pork and beef)!. Eat a lot of vegetables, nuts (walnuts, almonds, etc), and eat maybe one or two pieces of fruit a day!. Limit your sugars and unhealthy carbs, and the pounds should melt off in time!Www@FoodAQ@Com

First of all, curb out the bleached, white rice and go with a more natural brown alternative!. Yes, it does make a difference!. Next, mix in some veggies, but steam them all, don't fry them!. If you want a meat, go with some sort of fish (be a little careful, too much ocean fish like tuna can give you mercury poisoning) or chicken, again, roast or BBQ it instead of frying!. That should give you a pretty good start, find mariance by mixing different veggies and or light sauces each night!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ok!.!. first of all, if you're trying to lose weight then rice isn't a good thing to have because it expands in your stomach!. But if you really want to i would suggest using brown or wholemeal rice!. But here are a couple of sites to help you:

You can have all the rice you want, but the key to successfully losing weight is to eat breakfast within half hour of waking up!. It gets you metabolism going!. You also need to eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day and do not eat later than 7 or 8pm!. also a half hour of light exercise everyday!. I went from 215lbs down to 175lbs in 3 months!. also look up online foods that help you increase your metabolism!. Good luck and remember to stay healthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
