Question: Recipe for chilie sauce please!?
I have a load of chillies I do not want to waste!. Does anyone have a great recipe for chilie sauce or chutney or something different!? ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Fresh Tomato Chili Sauce
* 6 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
* 2 hot chile peppers, seeded and chopped
* 1 red bell pepper, cored, seeded and cut into 2-inch pieces
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
* 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice, or amount to taste
* 2 tablespoons white sugar
* 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt, or amount to taste
1!. Place the tomatoes in a large pot over medium heat, and simmer 1 hour!. Skim off any excess liquid or foam!. Stir in the chile peppers, bell peppers, onion, vinegar, lime juice, white sugar, brown sugar, and desired amount of salt!. Reduce heat to low, and simmer 3 to 5 hours until liquid reduces and thickens!. Adjust seasonings to taste!.
2!. Remove chili sauce from heat, and skim off any foam!. Pour into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headroom!. Adjust lids!. Process for 10 minutes in a boiling-water bath!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

HOMEMADE CHILI SAUCE

1 peck tomatoes
9 green peppers
6 med!. size onions
3 c!. sugar
3/4 c!. salt
1 doz!. med!. red peppers
1 qt!. vinegar
3 tsp!. cloves, ground
3 tsp!. cinnamon
2 tsp!. nutmeg
2 tsp!. ginger

Chop all ingredients in pieces and mix well!. Bring to a boil and continue to keep at a low boil for 3 to 4 hours until thickened and cooked thoroughly, can or freeze or can in jars like jelly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
