How can I make pre-made spinach dip better?!

Question: How can I make pre-made spinach dip better!?
I bought a spinach dip @ Walmart and it is spinach, water chestnuts, sour cream, and some spices!. I had the idea it would taste like the hot kind you get at restaurants!. They all have cheese in them!. I want to make this dip I bought into a warm cheesy kind too!. Any suggestions on how to convert it, what kind of cheese!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would add some lemon juice, a bit of garlic and salt and pepper!. Then put the dip into a greased casserole dish, sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top and bake until the top is brown and bubbly!
You could also add a can of chopped artichoke hearts also, if you are looking for a dip similar to Olive Garden and Applebees!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most of the ones you get at a restaurant are Artichoke-Spinach dips!. You can heat up the dip you have, with more softened cream cheese (or 8 oz!. shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese) and a can of cut-up artichoke hearts, and may need to add some garlic and more herbs!. The one that you bought is supposed to be served cold; and I like to serve it in a hollowed-out sourdough bread (refrigerate overnight)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The one you bought is supposed to be served cold!. But, you can experiment and try cooking it!. It might be great!

Add:

1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 packaged *softened cream cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
Chopped garlic
1/2 can drained artichoke hearts and chop them up

Mix together fully!.

Put in a baking dish and bake for 20 mins on 375!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make my own my family loves it!.I buy 1 packet of Knor vegetable soup add 1 10 oz frozen spinach (thawed) and squeeze out water add water chestnuts chopped !.and I small can (start with half) sliced black olives!.a few drops Tabasco!. Follow directions on Knor packet and I serve it in a hollowed out sourdough bread!. Its always a winner!. Costco makes a good spicy one also but I prefer mineWww@FoodAQ@Com

Add a little more garlic and some fresh Parmesan cheese!. Maybe a drop or two of tabasco for some extra flavor!. If you bake it in the oven till heated it will taste so yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com
