Good Old Fashioned Pancakes -- This is a great recipe that I found in my Grandma's recipe book!. Judging from the weathered look of this recipe card, this was a family favorite!.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted

DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar!. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth!.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat!. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake!. Brown on both sides and serve hot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For Swedish Pancakes:
3 eggs
1 1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp salt
1-2 teaspoons vanilla
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon

Beat eggs!. Add milk, sugar, salt, cin!., vanilla!. Slowly beat in flour until smooth!. Consistency will be creamy to thick, but more liquidy than traditional pancake batter!.

Heat flat fry pan to med to high heat!. Add butter and cover entire surface!. Pour approx 1/2 cup of mixture and spread evenly over the surface!. When edges brown slightly and surface appears "dry" flip it carefully using a wide spatula and cook for a few seconds!. Transfer to plat immediately and add your favorite condiment!. Suggest melted butter with fresh strawberries, raspberries, or lemon with powdered sugar!. Roll the pancake up (like you would a crepe) and bon a petit!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i dont have a recipe, but for tips,

-wait until the top has bubbles all around and even in the middle until flipping
-keep heat going at the same temperature -- do not over heat, the centers on the cakes will be mushy and battery
- keep on medium heat

good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get a cup and measure out equal amount of milk, egg and flour!. Just fill the cup full with flour, then put it in a bowl and do the same with the eggs and milk!. With the eggs, just use as many eggs will fit inside the cup!. There's no set amount ;) Whisk it all together in a bowl and that's your mixture sorted!. Don't fuss about with all the long winded recipes!. Pancake mixture doesn't need to be dressed up and complicated!. It's just a Yorkshire pudding recipe!.
Hope this helps!.

British pancakes are different:

Plain Flour
Eggs
Milk
Water
and a pinch of salt

MIx to a batter!. Fry a little oil in a frying pan until it's very hot, then pour in enough batter to fill the bottom of the pan!. Flip when one side is done!. Add your topping of choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
