Puree is cooked tomatoes that were briefly strained!. It's texture is that of a thick liquid!.

Diced Tomatoes are chunky cut tomatoes that are used for bruchetta or added to pasta sauce to make the sauce hearty!.

Crushed Tomatoes add pulpy texture to sauce for pasta or meat!. They are tomatoes that are long-simmered!.

Stewed Tomatoes usually are simmered with oninos,celery,, and bell peppers!. Good for stews and sauces for meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

puree is literally tomatoes put into a blender, sometimes seeded!. tomato paste is that same puree with all of the water removed!. so it's a concentrate of sorts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
