Answers:
They can be high in cholesterol, so watch that!. You can do a lot with then if you temper them, it opens up a lot more cooking avenues rather than just the boiled egg, could liven it up a bit for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eggs do have a lot of cholesterol compared to how small they are!.

One large egg has about 213 mg of cholesterol - the USDA recommends you consume less than 300 mg of cholesterol in one day!. So if you are eating several eggs a day - you are over that limit!.

But - the majority of that cholesterol is in the egg yolk!. If you are eating the hard boiled - just toss out the yolk in all but one of the eggs you eat in a day and you would be fine!. Of course - you've already eaten most of your recommended cholesterol intake in that one yolk - so you would want to limit other foods containing it!.

Eggs are a great source of quality protein, however!. In fact - the protein in an egg white is a complete protein - that we used to compare all other sources of protein!. So the news isn't all bad!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eggs are great! Limit the number of yolks you use!. I usually use one yolk per 3 eggs I make!. They are packed with protein which is great for the active person!. The whites are basically pure protein, so they are very low in calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
