Answers:
Line the bottom of your crock pot with white or yellow onions!. salt and pepper the roast and sear it in a heavy skillet!. Place the pork butt in the slow cooker and set time!. The longer the better!. Halfway through cooking smear the top with apricot jam or preserves, drop in 3 cloves crushed garlic, sprinkle top with a few dried red peppers and finish cooking!. Pull the pork with a fork so it shreds!. Make sandwiches with slaw, or serve with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mother places it in a cooking bag, then tops it with Cream of Mushroom soup and Lipton Onion soup mix!. She secures the bag, cuts little steam slits in the top and bakes it at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes per pound -- excellent!.

You can also place it in a large casserole, season with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, cover with foil and bake for about 2 hours at 350 degrees!. This is how I prepare it most of the time!. With this method, you could prepare a bed of sliced onions and celery on the bottom of the casserole, cut slits all over the roast and insert slivers of garlic, then cover and roast for 2 hours at 350 degrees!.

Another wonderful method of preparing Boston Butt pork roasts is to smoke them on the grill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put it in your crock pot!. Salt and pepper it!. Pour in about 3 cups of regular ROOT BEER!. Let cook on LOW for 6-8 hours!.

After about 4 hours, put in 1 large DICED onion, sprinkle it around!.

After 6-8 hours, shredddd it with 2 forks and stir it all up!.

Add 1 jar BBQ sauce!.

Have it on quesadillas, buns, tacos, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
