I prefer making my own! Fresh, warm, caramel corn is, without question, heaven on earth!

6 qts fresh popped corn, preferably air popped
1 C butter
2 C!. brown sugar
1/2 C Karo syrup (lt!. or dk!., I prefer light)
1 t!. salt
1/2 t!. baking soda
1 t!. vanilla

slowly melt butter, add sugar, syrup and salt, bring to a boil stirring constantly!. Boil 5 minutes without stirring!. Remove from heat, add soda and vanilla, gradually stir into popcorn!.
Bake in greased pan at 450 degrees F!. for 45 minutes stirring every 15!

you may also add nuts if desired, toss with popcorn before adding caramel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
