What is the your favorite curry?!


Question: What is the your favorite curry!?
I LOVE curry iv'e tryed so many different one but i still can't get enough!. I love chicken tikka and lamb madras, also the vindaloo!. Any suggestions!? i like a lot of garlic, it has to be spicey and hot!. Know any recipes!? Or any sites!? thank you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm southern and I love cajun spices!.

So try these:

DOWN HOME CHICKEN

3 lbs!. chicken
2 c!. flour
1/2 tsp!. oregano
1/4 tsp!. curry
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tsp!. onion salt
1/2 tsp!. garlic
1 tsp!. old bay
1/2 tsp!. cajun
2 tsp!. paprika
1 tsp!. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp!. Hickory smoked seasoning
1 tsp!. meat tenderizer

Combine all ingredients and mix or shake thoroughly!. Then coat chicken and place in lightly greased pan!. Add a pat of butter on top of each piece of chicken!. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown!.

CURRY CHICKEN (JAMAICAN)

1 whole chicken or chicken parts
2 tsp!. curry
2 stalks escallion
1 onion
Garlic powder, optional
2 tsp!. salt or McCormick seasoned salt

Wash and drain chicken!. Cut into biting parts!. Place in skillet!. Add remaining ingredients!. Cover and stir periodically!. Allow to cook for approximately 45 minutes!. Serve hot with rice!. Enjoy!.

CARIBBEAN PORK RIBS

2 1/2 c!. pineapple juice
1 lg!. onion (sliced)
2 tbsp!. orange-flavored liqueur
2 tbsp!. dark rum
6 tbsp!. honey
2 tbsp!. Jamaican Hot Pepper Sauce (or to taste)
2 tsp!. garlic (minced)
1 tsp!. salt
1/4 tsp!. nutmeg
1 tsp!. curry powder
4 lbs!. baby back ribs (4 racks)

For marinade, combine pineapple juice, onion, liqueur, rum, honey, pepper sauce, garlic, salt, nutmeg and curry powder in a medium sized bowl!. Reserve 1/3 cup marinade and refrigerate!. Place ribs in a rectangular baking dish and add remaining marinade!. Cover and marinate ribs overnight in the refrigerator, turning the ribs several times to coat them evenly with marinade!.
Prepare a charcoal grill or barbecue!. Cook ribs over the hot coals, turning occasionally and brushing with the reserved marinade until ribs are cooked through and crisp on the outside, about 15 minutes!. Serve with Jamaican Hot Pepper Sauce on the side!. Serves 4!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Egg Curry
4 Eggs (hard boiled)
1 onion
1/2 tomato (pureed)
3-4 flakes of garlic
1/2-inch piece of ginger
1-2 green chilies
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt To Taste
Red chili powder to taste
3/4th tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
3/4 tsp garam masala
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil / ghee
1 cup green peas or 250 gms paneer
* Remove the shell of boiled eggs & keep aside!. If using Paneer cut into cubes and fry till golden & set aside for later use!.
* Make a paste of onion, garlic, ginger and green chilies in a mixer or chopper!.
* Heat oil in a kadhi or wok and add onion-garlic paste and fry till golden brown!.
* Add all the spices (salt, turmeric, coriander & chili powder) except garam masala and fry for a minute and add tomato puree!. Fry till it starts leaving oil!.
* Add a cup of water and cook till it dry's!.
* Now add the fried paneer cubes or green peas (which ever using) and boiled eggs!.
* Add 1 cup of water and bring to boil and reduce the flame!.
* Simmer for 10 minutes!.
* Garnish egg curry with garam masala and coriander leaves and serve hot with paratha, roti or rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i dont know the recipe but theres a vietnamese restaraunt in town that has awesome spicy green curry with tofu and pumpkin curry with tofu!. i know that the green one has stuff like eggplants and the pumpkin one has pumpkin chunks in it and both have peas, carrots, and bamboo shoots in it!. i like pouring it over their white rice!.
