I'm looking for a new recipe....?!

Question: I'm looking for a new recipe!.!.!.!.!?
I love to try different styles of cooking & new flavors!. I'm open to trying anything that other people like & would recommend!.

My family is very picky & never wants to try anything I make that's not "normal"!. BUT I want to cook for myself & my husband! I was hoping to find something that looks "normal", so I can take it to the families house & not tell them exactly what it is!. When they try it & like it, I will tell them!.

Any recipes for me!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Traditional Greek Recipe: Stuffed Vegetables
Get lets say 10 medium tomatoes and 10 green peppers big ones
start with the tomatoes an cut them on the top horizontally in order to create a kind of top (flap) then take a table spoon and empty the tomatoes from the interior be careful not to break them - its not as hard as it sounds believe me! don't through away the tomatoes' interior keep it on a big bowl then do the same thing with the peppers but you don't need their interior!.
Okay now you must have 20 vegetables opened and empty in a roasting pan along with their tops!.
lets move to the stuffing
Get almost 500gr - maybe less- rice put it in a bowl without boil it
mash the tomatoes' interior and add it to the rice then slice in very small portion a big onion 3-4 carrots, 3-4 vegetable marrows a whole bunch of parsley and some mint!. Mix them all together add salt and pepper and olive oil!. You need a lot of olive oil here - your mixture must be fully covered with oil- not extremely too much but enough
Then u must fill the vegetables and bake them in the oven for about 1 hour to 180 C ( until the rice is done ) its better to cover them with foil and uncover them 10 minutes before they are done!.
Generally the filling of this food its up to everybodys' taste and preferences you can add anything you want in there its up to you but dont forget the olive oil and if you dont want to use that much oil use less and add some water also
I tried to explain it as best i could
Sorry for my english!.!.!.my greek is better!
If you have any questions please feel free to ask me!

What would look normal is chicken or pork, but marinate it in something a bit different -- like slow cook a pork loin in apple cider, onions and a little vinegar, or cook the chicken in a white wine sauce, or marinate it in an apricot glaze!. You can serve the pork with saur kraut and rice or potatoes, with sliced carrots, and the chicken in the wine sauce over egg noodles with green beans and/or snap peas!.
If marinated in apricot glaze, serve the chicken with a broccoli/corn/red pepper mix and rice!.
See, just a slight tweak in flavor can really make a difference!.
Another idea is to make burgers using ground pork, and add apple cider and onion soup mix and bread crumbs to the ground meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken Cordon Bleu -- I use chicken broth instead of the wine

INGREDIENTS
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
6 slices Swiss cheese
6 slices ham
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup heavy whipping cream

DIRECTIONS
Pound chicken breasts if they are too thick!. Place a cheese and ham slice on each breast within 1/2 inch of the edges!. Fold the edges of the chicken over the filling, and secure with toothpicks!. Mix the flour and paprika in a small bowl, and coat the chicken pieces!.
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the chicken until browned on all sides!. Add the wine and bouillon!. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear!.
Remove the toothpicks, and transfer the breasts to a warm platter!. Blend the cornstarch with the cream in a small bowl, and whisk slowly into the skillet!. Cook, stirring until thickened, and pour over the chicken!. Serve warm!.
