Can i make cupcakes with just the paper holder on a cookie sheet? or do i have to have the muffin pan to?!
Answers:
yes you can use just the paper holder and they should come out just fine!. I've done that on many occassions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You need a muffin pan!. If you pour the batter directly into the paper holders, even if it doesn't immediately collapse, when it cooks it will expand!. Cupcakes don't take that long to cook, though, so if you only have one pan you can just rotate; you need to let the cupcakes cool before you can frost them anyway, so you can frost one round well the others are cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
cupcakes don't take too awful long to bake, you could always just try to make one without a pan and see what happens! Cake mix can be kept covered in the refrigerator, you just have to add another minute or two to the baking time if its cold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
what you could do is place the paper holders into coffee/tea mugs!. that will cause them to hold their shape (and the mugs will be fine in the oven)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can do without the pan if you use the foil cups, the paper ones don't have enough substance to cook in all by themselves!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The silicon wrappers will work fine!. I believe the foil ones will too!. I don't think you could use the paper ones as they are pretty flimsy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
you need the muffin pan so they hold thier shapeWww@FoodAQ@Com
Sometimes we just need to use common sense!. Try one and see how it works!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
