What is this vegetable called?!
It's white and it has an almost crunchy consistency!. (Sort of like uncooked potato, but it's definitely not potato!.) I've seen it grated and tossed in with over fancy gourmet salads!. It tastes almost sweet and works really well with pineapple and cucumber!. Thanks so much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like JICAMA!.!.!.!. It has a tough (almost fabric-like) brown coating on the outside, that you peel off!. Most markets carry itWww@FoodAQ@Com
It's probably Jicama sometimes referred to as a Mexican potato!. Before it is peeled it will have a light brown to tanish colored skin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
