it depends on what you mean by fattening!. Boiled rice is a carb, which your body turns into sugar, and if you don't burn up all of that sugar, then your body will store it as fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is fattening since it contains carbs though i always soak them in water for abt 15-30 minutes which soaks out some of the starch so in a way it is better then other rice because they have lots of oil as wellWww@FoodAQ@Com
