Spaghetti and meatballs!. Meatballs: 1 pound hamburger, 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs and 1 egg!.


Goulash:
1 pound hamburger
1 pkg!. elbow macaroni
1 jar pasta sauce
1 can corn; drained
1 can green beans; drained


Crap in a Pot:
1 pkg!. potatoes o'brian
1 pkg smoked sausage
1 can cream of mushroom


Meatloaf:
2 pounds hamburger
1 box stove top
Ketchup on top


Chicken and Pasta:
1 pound chicken thighs
1 pkg!. spaghetti
1 pkg!. broccoli


Ramen Stir Fry:
1 pound meat
3 pkg's Ramen
1 pkg!. frozen stir fry veggies
1 tbs!. soy sauce

Egg Noodles -- $1!.00 at the Dollar Store
Stewed tomatoes - less than $1!.00 at the Dollar Store
Green Beans - 2 cans for $1!.00 at the Dollar Store
1 pound hamburger meat -- less than $2!.00 at any grocery store

Brown meat, cook noodles in boiling water, drain both!. Put into large stock pot, add stewed tomatoes along with salt, pepper, paprika and heat!. Meanwhile heat 2 cans green beans seasoned with salt and pepper!. You'll have enough to feed 7, maybe with some leftovers for lunch the next day!.

Beans and rice is cheap, too!. You can buy the packages at Dollar Store or any grocery!.

Jambalaya is also cheap -- get some smoked sausage on sale and add to it for a complete meal!.

A package of tortillas and a dozen eggs makes some great burritos with cheese and salsa!.

Or, you could go to the Dollar Store, and get all kinds of stuff for $1!.00 or less!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make your own chicken egg drop style soup!. I have made this many times and it's delicious and very inexpensive to make!.

Ramen Noodles (get as many that would serve your family) I have seen them for even as low as 10 cents a pack!.

Use the water asked for and bring to a boil (add seasoning packets to water first)

Add bag or 2 of mixed frozen veggies for soup while your are boiling the water!. I have bought a bag of this for 1!.00 many times!.

Add noodles and cook until noodles & veggies are done!.

When done, turn off heat and add 1 egg for every pack of ramen noodles you use!. Then just stir until the egg is cooked!. Do not beat the eggs first!. You can get a carton of eggs for 1!.50 or so!.

Serve with some milk and you have all 4 food groups covered in one meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cook the lentils , leaving soupy, add i can of chicken stock, salt and pepper to taste!. You can also ask the meat department for a ham bone or ham fat and you can put that in while you cook the lentils for flovor!.

t boxes mac and cheeze, prepare as said on box and add a can of diced tomatoes and a can of canned chicken, simmer for a couple minutes to mix flavors

2 cans of speghetti sauce, 1 can dark kidney beans, chili powder and salt and pepper to taste!. cook on medium till heated through

You need to think VERY cheap! I would suggest a loaf of bread which will run you maybe 2!.00!. Then a jar of peanut butter which will run you about 2!.50!. Then buy a cheap 2 liter coke at Wal-Mart for 67 cents!. I have another suggestion!.!.!.!.!.!.Spaghetti is very cheap! You can normally buy enough pasta to feed 7 with 2!.00!.!.!.!.And tomato sauce is very cheap also!.!.!.!.!.I don't know if you have any spices around the house, but you season the tomato sauce with some sort of spice!.!.!.!.If you don't have any spice, the dollar store always has them for a dollar!. And maybe a plain salad to go along with it (Lettuce costs around 1!.50!. And again maybe a cheap loaf of bread should cover the cost!. I'm fairly good at making myself cheap meals as I am poor!. I would say get 2 boxed macaroni and cheese they are usually 99cents each!. Buy some broccoli and a pound of hamburger!.
Fry the hamburger, drain the grease, cook up the mac and cheese and drain that !.!. add cooked broccoli and hamburger!.
You could also get lettuce, tomatoes and some shredded chesse add thousand island dressing and some bread and butter!.
Grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup!.
Ramen noodles add bits of lunch meat with broccoli or a tomato!.
A can of chili with hot dogs would work too but add a veg of some sort!.
(stay away from peanut butter too much of the stuff is being recalled)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wow, that's a tough one!.

Well, this is probably the cheapest one in my recipe collection!. Having said that, the end result isn't cheap or nasty - it's warming, filling, wholesome and delicious!.

PEA SOUP

This has got to be the simplest and cheapest recipe for the most wholesome and filling end result – ever!. My box of dried peas cost 36p, so each serving cost just 9p!

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

125g (? a 250g box) of dried peas
500ml of water
Ground black pepper to taste

METHOD

Soak the peas in water according to the instructions!.

Put the peas into a saucepan and cover with fresh water!. Bring to the boil, then turn down the heat until it is just boiling (simmering)!. Check the liquid level from time to time and top up if it starts to dry out!.

Continue cooking the peas until they are the desired consistency!. Adjust the quantity of the liquid to the required quantity of soup!.

If you have a food processor, put the soup in it and blend it to the desired consistency!. If you have a hand blender, put it in the soup and blend it to the desired consistency!. If you don’t have a food processor or hand blender, press the soup through a sieve with the back of a spoon!.

Season with the pepper!. Continue to cook for another couple of minutes!.

ADDITIONS & ALTERNATIVES

You can use fresh, frozen or tinned peas!. These do not need to be soaked!.

Pea soup can be any consistency from a thin liquid with soft peas floating in it to a thick paste you can stand a spoon up in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy a big can of chick peas and a large onion!. Chop the onion and cook in a bit of the gravy from the peas for about 3 minutes!. Add the rest of the peas with the gravy, a bit of salt and what other spices you have in your cupboard!. Cover and cook!. Enjoy!

Buy leg quarters for $3!.00 and under at some stores, its the cheapest meat!. Put them in a pan and just do cover the chicken with water!. Bring to a boil and turn back heat to a simmer!.
