I burned something on the stove, how to get rid of the smell in the house?!

Question: I burned something on the stove, how to get rid of the smell in the house!?
Is there a particularly scented candle that will do the trick!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
A frabreez candle is good!. You can also wash the floors, with bleach if you can or pine!. The floor washing seems to work the best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are two things I've found to fill the house with the best scents!. One is fresh-baking bread, but that's a plan ahead kind of deal, not a get-rid-of-this-burning-smell project!.

So the other is mulled cider! Do you have any juice!? Apple is best, obviously, but if you're just going for scent you can use grape probably instead!. Put a pot of it on the stove, add a cinnamon stick, a few cloves, a little nutmeg, and bring it to a gentle simmer!. It will smell 10 million times better than a Febreeze candle or whatever because it won't be artificial and if you just keep simmering it along it will eventually float down the hall into the same places the burnt smell did!. It will smell so great and make you nostalgic for the holidays!

If you don't have any clear juice (apple or grape, as opposed to citrus) you could do the same thing with water and a few tea bags with the same spices!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pop some popcorn, or make something else delicious!

Or, for candles, I find that Yankee Candles are particularly good at dominating a room with a scent!. My favorites are apple or cinnamon if I want to get rid of a bad smell!.

Air freshener is always an option too!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've heard of putting vinegar and water on the stove to boil to get rid of the smell of fish!. I have also used vanilla and water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

try taking a disinfectant & spraying down your door knobs, cabinet pulls, other knobs, switchesWww@FoodAQ@Com
