Question: Suggestions for teenagers lunch, but not sandwiches!.!.!.!?
My teen daughter does not like sandwiches (I have no idea why)!. I need to be able to come up with lunch suggestions to send her to school with!. They need to be teen friendly and healthy!. She has just started boxing and she needs good proteins and enough calories!.!.!.I just don't want her to load up on carbs and fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eww! I don't like sandwiches, either :) lol

Anyway, I usually make cold pastas with chicken, fish, shrimp and other foods that are loaded with proteins!. also, you can make salads with proteins!. Um, sometimes I might eat a wrap (using a pita), so I wouldn't consider that a sandwich :P haha!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stuff pita pockets
make stuffed muffins (bisquick, or flour, eggs, cheese, meat - there's a recipe at link)
salads
pasta salads
tuna salads
bagel pizzas
whole wheat tortilla pizzas

Roll up turkey and ham slices w/ a slice of swiss or mo-jack cheese into little tubes!. She can dip them into mustard, if she likes!.

Yogurt, Fruit, Granola, Cheese Cubes

Boiled Shrimp & Cocktail Sauce

A salad with grilled chicken, cheese and other veg on a it!. Or make her a fruit salad!. My daughter used to take cheese and pepperoni in a container and have a piece of fruit!.

Maybe tortilla wraps with meat, or cheese and crackers!? I like eating the Laughing Cow cheese wedges, they only have 35 calories per wedge! :) Fruit cups (containing applesauce, peaches, pears, etc!.) are also good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
