What is a good meal to have?!


Question: What is a good meal to have!?
With margarita's!? We are having margarita's tonight and I would like to cook a dinner that would go well with them!. We are open to just about any food possibilities and aren't picky at all!.
I was thinking maybe some kind of shrimp would be nice!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a recipe that would compliment your magaritas and you can even use the ingredients you have on hand for your margaritas!.

SPICY GRILLED SHRIMP WITH SCALLOPS WITH MARGARITA BUTTER

Shrimp and Scallops
12 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails left on
12 large scallops, rinsed and side muscles removed
1 tablespoon prepared chili powder (such as Fiesta, Spice Islands, or McCormick’s)
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Heat grill to about 450 degrees and oil grate!. Season shellfish with chili powder, salt, and pepper!. Brush with olive oil!. Grill on each side for 5 to 6 minutes!.

Margarita Butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 sticks unsalted butter, cut into cubes
1 shot (3 tablespoons) tequila
juice of 1 lime
salt and pepper to taste

Heat a small saucepan over medium-high heat and add olive oil!. Add onion and cook until translucent!. Deglaze pan with white wine and reduce by half!. Add cream, lower heat, and reduce by half!. Stir in butter a bit at a time until all is used and sauce is thickened!. Stir in tequila and lime juice!. Season with salt and pepper!.

To serve, place a scoop of Grilled Sweet Potato, Chorizo, and Corn Hash in center of each plate!. Arrange 3 shrimp and 3 scallops around it, then drizzle with margarita butter!. Serves 4!.

well i am going to give you two recipes that you may like with the margaritas!.!.heres one for shrimp fajitas!.!.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
1 cup (1 small) chopped onion
1 (1!.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
3 tablespoons water, or as needed
6 (10 inch) flour tortillas, warmed


DIRECTIONS

-Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat!. Add the red and green bell peppers, and onion!. Cook, stirring frequently until peppers are hot, but still slightly crisp, about 5 minutes!. Remove from the skillet and set aside!.

-Pour the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of oil into the skillet, and add the shrimp!. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink and opaque!. Reduce heat to low, and return the peppers and onion to the skillet!. Stir in taco seasoning and water so that everything is evenly coated!. Simmer until peppers are heated!. Serve in warm tortillas!.


and heres another recipe you may like!.!.for shrimp tacos!.!.

1/2 lb peeled, uncooked shrimp, (31/50's are perfect) cut into smallish pieces
2 limes
1/2 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
corn tortillas
purple cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup sour cream
1 small chipotle from a can, pay attention now - not a whole can of them - just one as they're hot, minced fine


here are the steps!.!.

-Mix well sour cream, chipotle and juice from 1/2 a lime in small bowl - set aside

-Heat pan well then add oil

-Add shrimp and stir fry quickly - the shrimp will cook fast

-When almost cooked, sprinkle with Old Bay then squeeze juice from half a lime on top

-Give 'em a quick mix and you're done

-That's it!. I like to put everything out and let people make their own!.
Put some of the chipotle sour cream on a tortilla, add a little cabbage, add the shrimp and squeeze a little more fresh lime juice over the top!.

-Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
