Answers:
Butternut squash will work perfect (actually that is a winter squash!)!. I've made this recipe before, it's great!. You can boil the squash and then once it's tender, puree it in your food processor or blender!. Or for a little extra layer of flavor, roast it with a light drizzle of oliver oil and some salt and pepper!. You can roast it at 350 degrees for about 45 - 60 minutes, or until tender!. Then puree it!.

You can also use canned pumpkin for "winter squash!." Winter squash is a loose term for pumpkin like squash!. Good luck! I hope it turns out well - her recipes generally do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Split the squash and scrape out the seeds!. Cover with foil or place cut side down on a baking sheet and bake at 350 deg!. until soft!. Cool and scrape out the flesh and run through a colander or use a food processor!. Ready to use!. You can also use canned pumpkin!. Not the pie filling with spices but the firm pack pumpkin!.
You could also microwave the squash instead of baking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It could work better!. Consider roasting your squash before pureeing it!. Split and seed the squash and lay in flat, cut side down on a lightly oiled baking sheet and roast at 350 F until easily pierced by a fork!. Let cool until it can be easily handled!. Scoop out flesh!. Puree in food processor or blender with a small quantity of low-sodium vegetable stock!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Roast the butternut squash:

Preheat oven to 350
Cut it in half, scoop out the seeds
Place halves, flesh side down on a cookie sheet
bake for 45 minutes
Scoop out flesh & puree in a blender or food processorWww@FoodAQ@Com

butternut squash is a winter squash!. I can't check out your link because the Food channel does not support Mac computers!.

Thanks for posting the recipe!. With those flavors, I think a bigger zucchini would be very good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
