Cheap, easy and REALLY good:

Buy 1 package of cream cheese; buy 1 jar of Sweet Chili Sauce (can be found in the asian section of your grocery store)!. Pout sweet chili sauce over cream cheese (not the whole jar just enough to cover and run down the sides)!. Serve with Ritz or rice crackers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

1 16oz!. jar alfredo sauce
1 8oz!. package cream cheese
2 10oz!. packages frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained)
? package Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix (shake well before adding)
1 can artichokes (roughly chopped)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
2 8oz!. packages shredded Italian cheese

Mix all ingredients together leaving out 1 package of the Italian cheese!. Put into a baking dish and bake at 350 about 30-40 minutes until bubbly!. Top with 1/2 package of remaining cheese!. Bake another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned!. If you don't have time to bake, just microwave until bubbly, then put under broiler to brown cheese!. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, pita chips, veggies!. This recipe makes a big batch of dip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shrimp & Bacon Dip (slow cooker)

2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 (5-oz) package shredded Swiss cheese
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
5 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 pound cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
Garnish: additional chopped green onion
Assorted crackers
Raw vegetables

Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a 1!.5-quart greased slow cooker!. Cook for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally!.

Garnish with additional chopped green onion!. Serve with assorted crackers or raw vegetables!.

HOT CRAB DIP

? cup sour cream (can use low fat)
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp grated fresh onion
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
? tsp dry mustard
? tsp garlic powder
1 (8-oz) tub light cream cheese, room temp!.
1 cup (4 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 lb!. lump crabmeat, drained and picked through to remove shell pieces
Cooking spray
Paprika

1!. Preheat oven to 325°F!.

2!. Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl; stir well with a whisk!. Stir in cheddar cheese and crabmeat!.

3!. Spoon crabmeat mixture into a 1?-quart casserole coated with cooking spray, and sprinkle with paprika!. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated!. Serve warm with crackers or breadsticks!.

This one is great, can be made the day before or even two hours before!. Everyone loves it!. Just serve with Tortilla chips or Doritos!.

SEVEN LAYER DIP

1st layer - 1 can jalipeno bean dip
2nd layer - 2 avocadoes - mashed with lemon juice
3rd - combine 2 T sour cream, 3 T mayonnaise and 1/2 pkg Taco mix
4th layer - 2 cups (1 each) shredded cheddar and jack cheese
5th layer - 3 Roma tomatoes - diced
6th layer - 3 green onions chopped fine
7th layer - 1 small can chopped ripe olives

Cover with saran and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight!.

We always serve it in a glass rectangular casserole dish and there's never any left over!.

HOT CRAWFISH DIP
1 stick butter
1 lg!. onion,chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 bell pepper,chopped
1T flour
1 sticks celery,chopped
1 lb!. crawfish
Melt butter and cook onion,bell pepper and celery until tender!.add flour to thicken!.Add cut up crawfish and soups!.Cook for 1/2 hour!.Serve hot in a chafing dish!.

Mrs!. Grass's dried Spring vegetable soup mix!. I think the recipe is on the box, but it's the same as the onion soup mix dips!. Add sour cream!. Be sure to stir this well and make it several hours before if possible to give the vegetables time to soften up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
