1!. Top tilapia or salmon with pesto before serving
2!. Fill large mushrooms with pesto, top with shredded Italian cheeses, broil and enjoy
3!. Mix pest with softened butter and shredded parmesan, then spread on french bread slices and broil until bubbling and golden

What I do is get a chicken breast - butterfly it so cut it down the middle and open it so it's like a butterfly, spread pesto over both sides and then cut up some mozarella (sp!?) and put on that, wrap in foil and then cook in the over - 180 - moderate for about 25 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can smear a small amount on garlic bread!. Or use that again, but with bruschetta topping (diced tomato, olive oil, onion, basil)!. Pocket a chicken breast, (cut into the breast to make a 'pocket') and stuff a small amount of pesto inside, prior to cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can actually add pesto to soup recipes or gravies!. It adds a lot of flavor!. Just try a dollop of pesto to your favorite chicken soup recipe next time, and you will totally have a different meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ok, my girlfriend tried this once about six months ago: chop up a baguette into slices, toast them or put them in the oven, then put pesto on that and then the kraft parmesan cheese on that, it's delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I put pesto on bread (spread it like butter) and sizzle it (pesto side down) on a hot pan with some olive oil!. Remove and add some Monterey Jack Cheese or cheddar on it!. Serve it with a poached egg on top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
