This recipe is from my De Grazia and Mexican Cookery by Rita Davenport with art by Ted De Grazia:

MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES
This delicate sweet dessert will be a surprising treat for people who think Mexican food is always hot and spicy:

1/2 c butter
2 T powdered sugar
1 c flour
1 c chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Cream together butter and sugar until light!. Add flour, pecans, and vanilla!. Roll dough into 1" balls!. Place on greased baking sheet and flatten slightly!. Bake at 300o for 25-30 minutes!. Roll in additional powdered sugar while warm!. Let cool, roll again in sugar!.

Be careful to bake only until a light brown color!. Cookies may be stored for several days; sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving!. Makes 25-30 cookies!.

This recipe is different than yours in the fact that the ratio of nuts to the flour is greater!. Mine will have more nuts in it - yours will have more flour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you mean Mexican Wedding Cakes!? also known as Pecan Crescents and Russian Tea Cakes !.!.!.!.!. there are recipes anywhere for hemWww@FoodAQ@Com
