There is a debate going on between my friends and i!. boiled or steamed crabs!. I perfer to boil my crabs in beer with old bay!. how do you prepare your crabsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Get the water rolling, add Old Bay then drop in the crabs (or shrimp, or crawdads, or what-ever-the-hell you managed to come up with for supper) being careful to NOT over cook them (that's what makes them mushy)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a Maryland girl, through and through!. I steam my crabs, in a mixture of beer, water, and vinegar!. I season crabs with a Old Bay and kosher salt combo as add them to the pot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Steaming them produces less mushy crabmeat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
