Is it still edible??????????????!

Question: Is it still edible!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
2 weeks ago i peeled my bacon and took out half of it cand cooked it!.

I left it in the fridge without any ziplocks or anything!. I just left it there with the peel opened!.

2 weeks I found out that It has gone more brown !.!.!.

It has been i the fridge all the time, but I don't know if I can eat browned-bacon!.

Why did it turn reddish-brown and can I still eat it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Don't worry about the pink parts turning brown; that's just exposure to oxygen!. Smell it!. If it has a twangy, sour smell, it's rancid and pitch it!. If not, it's good!. Bacon lasts awhile b/c it's smoked!. What makes it go bad is the abundance of unsaturated fats that turn rancid quicker than sat fats do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It could be the sugar carmalizing in the fridge!. A lot of bacon has sugar in it to make it sweeter, especially bacon like maple flavored bacon!.

Two weeks open in the fridge!? I'm not sure!. Because you're cooking the bacon, you'd generally be killing all the bacteria!. I don't know if I would cook it!. But if you are, make sure that bacon is fully cooked! Don't just wing it when you cook it!. And next time don't leave it out in the open!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't eat it!.!.!. could be deadly!. Cooking it fully could kill any bacteria on it, but it might not!. Plus, it probably tastes pretty bad!. Better to pay for different bacon than for a trip to the emergency room!.
