Answers:
Depends on how high a heat you cook them on!. Never over cook eggs as they get hard, but under cooked eggs are runny and squishy!.
I fried up some ham this morning in butter!. I added two eggs and scrambled them!. I put the cover on the pan and let it sit for about one minute!. Then I flipped them and waited another 30 seconds!. They were done just fine!.
This was on high heat and 2 TBS butter and covered!.
Covering helps The tighter the fit of the top, the faster things tend to cook!. I start out with high heat, dump the eggs in, cover, let rest for 30 seconds and and remove from heat!. Then I flip them, stick them back on the heat for a few seconds (covered) and remove them again!.
I get perfect sunny side up eggs that way as well and the whites are done!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

to taste it probably varies but I don't like them runny so I recommend getting used to testing by touch for firmness and cooking at a medium low flame so they cook through without getting overly browned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They are done when they taste good to you!. I like mine a little "wet" and not cooked until dry!. It takes about 2 minutes for me to make them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They are cooked when they are no longer runny and they stiffen up!. It takes about 5-6 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
