1Have baked 9-inch pie shell ready!.
2In a large saucepan, scald the milk!.
3In another saucepan, combine the sugar, flour and salt; gradually stir in the scalded milk!.
4Over medium heat, stirring constantly, cook until thickened!.
5Cover and, stirring occasionally, cook for two minutes longer!.
6In a small bowl, have the 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, ready; stir a small amount of the hot mixture into beaten yolks; when thoroughly combined, stir yolks into hot mixture!.
7Cook for one minute longer, stirring constantly!.
8Remove from heat and blend in the butter and vanilla!.
9Let sit until lukewarm!.
10When ready to pour, slice bananas and scatter in pie shell; pour warm mixture over bananas!.

Chocolate Banana Cream Pie

A creamy layered pie; the layers include chocolate, bananas, and vanilla pudding with coconut!. Easy, and very yummy!.

INGREDIENTS
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust, baked and cooled
2 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon butter
2 bananas, sliced
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 (3!.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 tablespoons flaked coconut, toasted


DIRECTIONS
Combine chocolate, 1 tablespoon milk, and butter or margarine in a medium, microwave safe bowl!. Microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds!. Stir until chocolate is completely melted!. Spread evenly in pie crust!.
Arrange banana slices over chocolate!.
Pour 1 1/2 cups milk into a large bowl!. Add pudding mix, and beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes!. Stir in 1 1/2 cups coconut!. Spoon over banana slices in crust!.
Spread whipped topping over pie!. Sprinkle with toasted coconut!. Refrigerate 4 hours, or until set!. Store in refrigerator

WHITE CHOCOLATE BANANA CREAM PIE
1 sheet prepared pie dough
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup cornstarch
1 cup whole milk
1 vanilla bean - split lengthwise
1 T!. butter - cut into diced pieces
2 oz!. white chocolate - melted
4 ripe bananas - sliced 1/4" thick
1 T!. lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream - whipped until stiff
1 1/2 T!. banana liqueur
6 oz!. white chocolate - cut into curls
Cocoa powder - for garnish
Crust: On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of pie dough to fit a 10" tart pan!. Place the dough into the pan and trim the edges!. Prick evenly with a fork and bake at 450 degrees F for 9-11 minutes, until golden!. Remove and let cool!.

Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and the sugar!. Add the cornstarch and whisk to combine!. Meanwhile, in a saucepot, bring the milk and vanilla bean to a boil!. Remove from the heat and discard the vanilla bean!. Stir 3 T!. of the milk into the egg mixture and return the milk to the stove over low heat!. Slowly add the egg mixture to the milk and stir until it comes to a boil!. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and the melted white chocolate!. Cover and refrigerate!.

To assemble the pie, toss the bananas with 1 T!. lemon juice and set aside!. Fold the whipped heavy cream into the chilled filling!. Then fold in the bananas and the banana liqueur!. Paula Deen's Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding

2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top!.

In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer!. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth!. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture!. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended!. Serve this award-winning pie right away, while the bananas are fresh!.

1 prebaked 9" pie shell

~Filling~
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
3 cups milk
2 eggs, beaten
3 TBS butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large bananas, sliced

~Topping~
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Mix the sugar, cornstarch, milk and beaten eggs in a medium saucepan!. Bring to a boil over med-high heat, stirring constantly until thickened (about 15 min)!. Remove from heat, stir in the butter and vanilla!. Cool at least 30 minutes!. Add the sliced bananas and spoon into the mixture into the pie shell!.

To make the topping, whip the cream, sugar and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until it forms soft peaks!. Spread over filling!. Refrigerate until ready to serve!. Serves 8!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Banana Cream Pie

2 cups milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
4 bananas, sliced

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, flour, and salt!. Add milk in gradually while stirring gently!. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is bubbly!. Keep stirring and cook for about 2 more minutes, and then remove from the burner!.
Stir a small quantity of the hot mixture into the beaten egg yolks, and immediately add egg yolk mixture to the rest of the hot mixture!. Cook for 2 more minutes; remember to keep stirring!. Remove the mixture from the stove, and add butter and vanilla!. Stir until the whole thing has a smooth consistency!.
Slice bananas into the cooled baked pastry shell!. Top with pudding mixture!.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes!. Chill for an hour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
