Question: If I make a chilli this evening!.!.!.!.!?
!.!.!. will it be okay to leave in the fridge and serve it on Wednesday evening!?

Or should I freeze it for a day!?

Chili is one of those dishes that just get better the longer it sits!

Make sure you reheat it thoroughly (I would bring it to a simmer over medium heat, and let it simmer on medium-low heat for about 15-20 minutes ~ low and slow ~ then test for temperature)!. You could even throw it in the crockpot on low for a couple of hours (stirring a couple of times to ensure even heating)!.

Key is to make sure you bring everything back up to ideal temperature ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should never freeze food unless you plan on using it in future weeks or months ahead!.refrigerate & heat it up on Wed!.if possible,make it the same day you plan on using it-some people do not beef or turkey etc!.!. heated up-good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
