Good devlied egg recipe?!
I made deviled eggs for my boyfriend using miracle whip and grey poupon mustard!. The taste was just too mustardy and acidic (acidic I suppose from the miracle whip)!. I would like to try again using another recipe!. Do you have one that is good!? He doesn't like a bunch of "stuff" chopped up into the mix, i!.e!. onions, etc!. He would like a very simple, tasty smooth filling!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always use mayonnaise and little salt and pepper!. It always tastes good!. Sprinkle some cayenne pepper for taste and look!.
It will be really an eye feast if you put the mixture in a pastry bag and pipe it onto the egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I believe the trick to making the Best Deviled Eggs starts with the egg!. When you boil your eggs add a tsp of vinegar to the water so they don't turn green!. Always use a timer and don't over cook them!!! This will make them dry!
In fact, on the contrary, I cook them the way the french do, slightly under so there are two tones of yellow yoke versus bright yellow only!. This will make your eggs creamier and you will have to add less Mayo (best food's mayo) and instead of mustard try a little curry powder, kosher salt, white pepper and for a touch of color add some paprika!.!.!.that way you don't have all that junk in there you really don't need!. And if he likes it really creamy add a smidge of milk not extra mayo!. This will make it easier to pipe into the egg if you're into to that stuff!. If you want a hint of mustard then by all means go for it!. But you'll find the egg flavor with curry is awesome!. Lastly, use a hand mixer to make it fast!
Good Luck!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My wife doesn't like any mustard in her's!. I like a little 'yellow' mustard!. Your acidic taste came from the vinegar in the mustard, not the miracle whip!. I would stick with miracle whip and leave out the mustard or just add a little yellow mustard!. You can garnish with a little paprika for color!. just dust it on and it looks real pretty, but you don't really taste it much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Use regular mayo, regular mustard with a dash of the Grey Poupon (about 1/4 tsp), a dash of horseradish , salt and pepper!. The tiny amounts aren't enough to overwhelm the eggs, but they add a little oomph!. My deviled eggs always disappear before any others at pot lucks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The acidic taste would be from the mustard not the miracle whip!.
I prefer real mayo, and just plain old yellow mustard!. The best and very basic!. Give a sprinkle of paprika over the top for a bit of color though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Miracle Whip and just a touch of regular mustard for color!. You can try Hellman's you still do not like the taste of the Miracle Whip!. I always sprinkle the top with paprika!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Use mayo and Durkee's sauce!. It's a less potent version of Dijon Mustard!.!.!. makes AWESOME deviled eggs!

Use less mustard, and try a regular kind!. Mayo, salt, pepper and a dab of mustard should do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Try just the Miracle Whip without the Dijon mustard!. That's the way my mom always made them, and that's the way I like 'em!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I just mix some onion and celery with the yolk!. You could leave that out!. Then, put a tad of mustard, mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip), some salt and pepper!. I guarantee they will be good!Www@FoodAQ@Com
