How do I beat butter by hand?!
I am making cookies and it says to beat butter for 30 secconds then add sugars and continue to beat until creamy, but my beater is broken!.
How do I beat the butter with out a beater!.

Answers:
The butter needs to be about room temperature 75 degrees or so!. Then if you have a wire whisk use it, if not you can do it with a fork but you'll have to do it for a couple of minutes at least, until it's creamy!.
Edit: don't melt the butter,,, only room temperature so it's really soft and mushy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
