Answers:
It's ok to cook still!. It looks funky on the outside because it was starting to cook!. Just make sure that you cook it all the way on the inside!. I've done that before and have never gotten sick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is ok!. When you defrost something in a microwave, it doesn't actually defrost it!. What a microwave does on defrost mode is actually the same thing it does when you are cooking with it!. The only difference is that, on defrost mode, the microwave heats for a few seconds and then turns the heat of for a few seconds and repeats the process over and over again to help defrost something!. The reason for this is that food is cooked by actual micro waves-electromagnetic waves, and you can not turn down these waves of energy like you might think!. See for yourself:Www@FoodAQ@Com

being that im the oldest in mi family i have SOME cooking knowledge but u should definetly never try to thaw chicken in a microwave!.!.!.!.e_o and the better alternative is leaving it WRAPPED and put it in ur sink or a large pot with hot water!.!.!.!. btw i wouldnt eat that chicken if i were you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

U are supposed to use the defrost power setting and even then it's going to take a while to defrost!.!.maybe 10 to 20 or 30 minutes
