Crock pot chili is to soupy what do i do?!
the recipe made on the stove says to keep the lid half off to let the steam out but i tried it in the crock pot and the lid needs to stay on but now all the liquid is still in it!. do i take the lid off!. or what should i doWww@FoodAQ@Com

Do not, I repeat DO NOT add flour, masa flour, corstarch, corn meal etc!.!.!.
It will change the flavor and make up of your chili!. Just leave the lid off for a while!. Or Put it in a pot on the stove and simmer it, stirring often!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stir together 1 Tablespoon of flour with 1 Tablepoon of water and pour in, and allow to cook out with the lid off for severa minutes, on high!.

To speed things up, do what was suggested but heat the chili on the stove top!. Bring the chili to a good simmer and let cook until thickened!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah, take the lid off and let some liquid evaporate!. If you want to, add more chili powder to thicken, or tomato paste (depending what your base is)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
