Question: Does anyone have a really good recipe for kumara (sweet potato) salad!?
Answers:
Cut sweet potatoes into large chunks, sprinkle with brown sugar, crushed garlic and salt!.
Roast until caramelized and browned!.
Whilst warm toss in some baby spinach, 1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar!.
crumble some feta cheese on top!.

Sweet Potato (Kumara) Wedges
This is a recipe I made while attempting to finish a food tech assignment!. This also works well with regular potatoes!. Sweet potatoes are known as 'kumara' in New * 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1 teaspoon mustard powder
* 1 pinch salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 4 large sweet potatoes, cut into wedges

1!. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!. Drizzle a medium baking sheet with the vegetable oil!.
2!. In a large, resealable plastic bag, mix flour, paprika, mustard powder, salt, and pepper!. Place sweet potato wedges in the bag, and toss to coat!.
3!. Arrange coated sweet potato wedges on the prepared baking sheet!. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until browned and crisp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

500g kumara
3 thin slices of onion
2 oranges
2 tsp chopped parsley
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp wine vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
fresh black pepper

Cook peeled kumara in salted water until tender!. Drain!. Slice kumara and place in salad bowl!. Break onion slices into rings!. Peel oranges and remove all white pith!. Slice crosswise and add the orange and onion to the kumara!. Place parsley, oil and vinegar in a screw top jar and shake to combine!. Pour dressing over the salad!. 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Chop kumara into 3cm chuncks, toss in olive oil, season with salt and pepper!. Roast until tender and caramelised!.

Toss hot kumara with cherry tomatoes, steamed green beans and spinach or rocket!. Dress with a creamy garlicy dressing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
