How can I make crispy noodles?!


Question: How can I make crispy noodles!?
also what kind of noodles should I use!? Is Rice Noodles okay for this!?

I want it like its a birdnest so I can put meat and vegetables on top!. Not like Yakisoba kind of noodles!.

Buy cellophane noodles or regular rice noodles and drop them (dry & solid) into hot oil at about 350 degrees!. This will cause them to puff up and become crispy!. I think that's what you're looking for!. These are the ones that come out like a white bird's nest!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dont need to add oil or anything else thats been suggested!.

Cook the noodles first until you can seperate them, not fully cooked, just seperated!. Then dump the water, and fry the noodles in the bottom of the pot for a bit, stir often, fry on medium heat for about 4-6 minutes!.
Re-add water and cook for another few seconds, voila , done!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well i use egg noodles and boil them for about 11 minutes or so just drain then get oil in wok hot(peanut oil and veg rapeseed oil peanut good to)throw in noodles stir quickly for 1 minute or so till noodle are slightly crisp throw on Kitchen paper soak up excess oil and enjoy!.If your adventurous try adding some spices to oil get some great results!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use canton noodles!.Deep fry for a few seconds until golden brown!. Tried it months ago with vegetable toppings (chopsuey style)but using chinese cabbage(and other vege that they use in cooking chopsuey instead!.It's yummy,try it!.Goodluck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have to buy FRESH egg noodles and deep fry or wok fry them, but they have to be the Fresh egg noodles, to get the ones like at a Chinese place!.!.

Use a soup ladel and something to push them into ladel to get bird nest effect!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
