Question: Anyone have a recipe for a sweet snack!?
i have a craving something sweet, but i dont want too much sugar!. stuff with fruit or very little sugar will do perfectly!. i can also bake and cook very well, so using the stove or the oven is no problem!. thanks!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

cream cheese sweetened with brown sugar or marshmallow creme is an AWESOME dip for fruit! i also like banana & pb (& sometimes honey) sandwiches!. bananas are also very good drizzled in chocolate syrup!. or if you feel like cooking, you could make crepes with whipped cream or sweetened cheese filling, and fruit!. yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Blueberrry Delight

Crust:
2 cups flour
2 sticks butter,melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix together and press into a 9 x 13 cake pan!. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes until slightly brown!. Let cool completely!.

Filling:
1 8 oz!. cream cheese,softened
1 8 oz!. cool whip
1 box powdered sugar

Mix together and spread on top of crust!. Top with 1 can of blueberry pie filling!. (Can use any type of pie filling you like!.)

Strawberries Romanoff

2 qt Strawberries, washed and quartered
2 cup(s) Sour cream
1/3 cup(s) Brown sugar
Juice of 1 orange
1 Tbsp Triple Sec or frozen OJ concentrate
Fresh Mint

Combine sour cream, brown sugar, orange juice and triple sec together in a mixing bowl!.
Toss in the strawberries, folding in until evenly coated!. Place 1/2 cup of berries in a dessert dish or champagne glass!. Garnish with a sprig of mint!. Chill until ready to serve!.

Stuffed Strawberry Picnic Queens

12 large, fresh strawberries, washed
3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp!. confectioner's sugar
1 Tbsp!. sour cream
fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Remove stems from strawberries to form a flat base!. Place berries on cutting surface, pointed end facing up!. With a sharp knife, carefully slice each berry in half vertically to within a 1/4 inch of base!. Cut each half into three wedges to form 6 petals!. (Don't slice through the base!.) Pull petals apart slightly!.

In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and sour cream; beat until light and fluffy!. With a pastry bag (or plastic zipper bag) and star tip or small spoon, fill strawberries with cream cheese mixture!. Garnish with a bit of mint leaf!.

One of my favorite snacks is actually healthy too! It's a variation of GORP (Good Old Raisins & Peanuts)!. No set measurements, but I use:

1 jar dry-roasted peanuts
1 jar sunflower seeds
1 box raisins
1 pkg!. dried cranberries
1 pkg!. m & m's
1 pkg!. butterscotch morsels
1 jar almonds

You can also add other dried fruits and other nuts depending on what you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favorite is micro popcorn!. Do your popcorn and then microwave 1/2 cup marshmallow cream!. Blend with popcorn!. Really goodWww@FoodAQ@Com
