Ok, my husband doesn't like cheese, and I'm craving beer-cheese soup, is there a middle ground?!

Question: Ok, my husband doesn't like cheese, and I'm craving beer-cheese soup, is there a middle ground!?
I've had it once before, and I loved it!. My husband doesn't like dairy and most types of cheese, and the types he does like (pepper jack, mozzarella, provolone [favorite]), he doesn't like a lot of!. I, on the other hand, love dairy!. Is there a middle ground where we will both be satisfied!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the most part, hubby and I like the same foods!.!.!.he does have some strange ideas of things he just won't eat! I'll make a big batch of something he likes (chilli, spaghetti, etc) that keeps well for left overs!. Serve something else the next night!. After that, I make what I want (I love hot wings, he doesn't) and give him his leftovers!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have the same problem with my husband, in the end we just have two different meals!. If he doesnt like dairy it's not really something you can change, so if you really want the cheese soup you'll have to make two meals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

this is really easy!.you prepare what he likes and you prepare what you like!. that way hes not forced to eat what he doesn't want the same goes for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

make it then serve some for yourself on the side and add the cheese!.
but yu cant always do what he wants!. sometimes he just has to deal or make something for himself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about French Onion soup instead!?
That was you can lay on a THICK layer of provelone cheese and he can have just a little or none at all on his!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

make your soup and make him something without cheeseWww@FoodAQ@Com

make him a steak and potato!Www@FoodAQ@Com

why dont you just eat what you want!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
