Question About Fudge?!
I found a recipe for Fudge that looked good, but I'm kinda wondering if it's worth it! I've never had Fudge before, but I wanna know if it's just like a candy bar, and if it's really one of a kind!. I wanna make some for my class (I'm the baker of the class) and first of all, I wanna know if they'll like it, keep in mind, there's going to be teenage BOYS!.
So, is it worth it or is it just like a candy bar!.
also, can I make it my own!? Can i add chocolate chips and stuff!? Or will it not turn out good!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you have any experience with candy-making!? Doing this or any other candy recipe correctly requires some know-how and a good candy thermometer!. It isn't always a good idea to try a new technique for the first time when you plan to share the results with someone else!.
That said, fudge is MUCH better than a candy bar!. Head on down to your local mall, go to the fancy-smancy chocolate shop and try a piece and you'll see!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

though i have never taken the time to actually make fudge i do enjoy it!. its not a candy bar but more like a combination of a brownie and a chocolate bar is probly the best way to put it!. you can put things in fudge but i don' think chocolate chip is really worth putting in there since fudge is pretty much pure chocolate, though i have had fudge with things like almonds and other nuts in it!. but i would say for teenage boys its definatly worth it =)Www@FoodAQ@Com
There are a lot of things you can do to fudge, which is a treat on it's own,(just ask any teen-age boy)!. Add nuts, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, or mini-marshmallows, or all three!.
Fudge, done properly is like no candy bar on the market, That's why those small chunks of fudge in 7-11's and elsewhere sell for $1!.50 to $2!.50 per bite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
