Really, there's no law!. You can use any of the proteins you use at any other meal: fish, poultry, beef, etc!. Nothing wrong with eating dinner leftovers - lean steak or PIZZA for breakfast, yum!

If you want to stay with traditional breakfast foods, then milk, yogurt, cheese are good!. Grains combined with dairy yield a larger amount of protein than dairy alone, so think cereal with milk, cheese on toast or a bagel, yogurt with granola!.

Forgot to mention that if you're in a hurry, drinking a glass of milk is the quickest and best way to go!. The experts are saying that three cups of milk a day increases weight loss and helps keep the late-in-the-day appetite down!. If you don't like the taste, stir in an equal amount of orange juice!. It tastes just like a Creamsicle! If you have a bit of time, use a hand blender to make a milkshake with bananas, berries or magoes!.

You can even use tofu - there's a way to make a tofu scramble, like eggs!. Scramble it with southwestern veggies or fruits, and it will take on the flavor of what it's cooked with!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Barley Breakfast Hash
1 c!. pearl barley
3 c!. chicken or beef broth
1 lb!. turkey sausage
1/2 c!. chopped onion
1/4 c!. chopped parsley
1/2 c!. chopped bell pepper ( color of your choice )
Combine barley and broth in a pot and bring to a boil!. Reduce and simmer for 1 hour !. You can prepare this the night before while watching tv or reading !.
Crumble or slice the sausage into the pan with onion and pepper !. Saute' until sausage is brown !. Stir in barley parsley salt and pepper !. Saute' until barley browns !.
