Eggs are cheap, have good fats, protien and other good suff, fill you up and keep you full for long periods!.
Cheap beef or burger!.
Beans-dried are even cheaper but you need to soak them and cook them to be able to eat them-not quick!. So get reduced sodium or no salt added canned beans!.

Eggs Florentine Style:
3-10 oz pkgs frozen chopped spinach-thawed and rained
1 tsp salt
? tsp pepper
12 eggs
? cup parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tsp paprika
Divide each package of spinach in ? and place in individual buttered casserole dishes Make a well in the middle of each potion of spinach and sprinkle with a little salt, pepper, and 1 tsp of parmesan cheese!.
In a large sauce break the eggs and slip 2 eggs into each spinach well with out breaking the yolk!. Spoon 2 tbsp of cream onto each set of eggs and sprinkle with more parmesan cheese!.
Bake at 350 for 15 min or until set!. Sprinkle with a little paprika and serve hot!.

Golden Egg Slice Dinner: This was one of my favorite dinners when I was younger!. My Mom forgot how she used to make it so of course when I found this recipe I had to have it for dinner that night!.
3 tbsp butter
? cup finely chopped onions
3 tbsp flour
1 small pinch saffron (optional-we never used saffron and never knew it needed it either)
2 cups milk scalded (we always used it strait from the fridge so it’s your choice)
8 hard boiled eggs cut into ? in thick slices
4 slices toast of choice
? tsp paprika
Melt the butter and add the onions!. Cook until tender and translucent, sprinkle in the flour and when smooth add the saffron if you choose to!. Add the scaled milk, stir well and cover, and keep warm over low heat!.
Separate the yolks from the whites and add the yolk to the sauce!. Stir and gently break up the yolks!. Let the sauce thicken just a bit and then gently fold in the whites-you don’t want these to break up to much!.
Cut the toast into triangles and lay them on top of each other!. Ladle the sauce on top of the toast and sprinkle with paprika!.

Scalloped Eggs:
8-2 inch diameter firm tomatoes
8 eggs
? tsp salt
? tsp pepper
8 slices lean or turkey bacon
? cup grated parmesan cheese
Remove the stem of end of the tomatoes and scoop out the center, leaving the cavity in tact!. Reserving the pulpy insides!. Needs to be large enough to hold one egg!.
Place the hollowed out tomatoes in a well greased casserole dish!. Careful break each egg into each tomato!. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper and bake at 375 for 10 minutes!.
Meanwhile chop the insides of the tomatoes real small, Sauté the bacon until crumbly and drain on paper towels!. Crumble to bacon and add the tomato pulp!.
Place a spoon full of pulp into each egg and sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese!. Place under broiler just until the cheese is lightly browned!.
Serves 8!.

? cup parmesan cheese

1-7oz can chicken white meat finely chopped

Butter the slices of bread on both sides!. And place in individual casserole dishes!. Press the bread down to form a bowl!. Place in a 350 degree oven for about 15 min or until golden brown!. Remove from oven and set aside!.
Melt the additional butter in a sauce pan over low heat, stir in flour and continue to stir until smooth!. Add the milk, salt and pepper!. Continue to cook until the sauce thickens!. Divide sauce in ?!.
To ? the sauce add Worcestershire sauce and chopped chicken!. Pour evenly into each bread cup!.
Add the cheeses to the other sauce mix well and set aside!.
Slightly poach eggs and then scoop into the bread cups!. Cover in cheese sauce and place in 350 oven for about 8 minutes, or until the top has turned light brown and it bubbly!.

1 onion chopped
2-3 cloves garlic
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
To taste:
chili powder]
cumin
seasoned salt
Brown the bruger and drain!. Add the onion and garlic and cook until onions are translucent!. Add to a pan and add the other ingredients!. Taste and add more spices as you need to have your taste buds happy!.

Beef and Bean Crock-pot Soup:
2 pounds hamburger
1 lg onion
1 green bell pepper (optional)
? pound low sodium bacon chopped up kinda small
1 can (16 oz) butter beans
1 can (16 oz) kidney beans
1 can (16 oz) Pork and beans (or pinto beans)
1 can (16 oz) no salt added tomato sauce!.
? cup brown sugar
? cup white sugar
2 tbsp molasses
2 tsp vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
Brown the hamburger and bacon together!. Drain, and add the onion and bell pepper!. Pour into large crock pot and add all remaining ingredients!. Stir to combine and cook on low 3-4 hours!.
----Basic Stew:
1 pound stew meat
1 or 2 carrots peeled and cut into big chunks
1 or 2 ribs of celery cut into big chunks
1 onion chopped
1 large white potato or 2 medium potatoes peeled and chopped
1 clove garlic chopped
1 can stewed tomatoes
Oil
Flour
Seasonings such as seasoned salt, granulated garlic, pepper, celery salt, onion powder and a few bay leaves
In a large skillet heat the oil!.
In a zipper seal bag add flour and all the seasoning to taste-except bay leaves!. You want to season it kinda heavily because it will basically season your whole stew!.
Toss the meat into the bag of flour and coat well!. Add the meat to the oil, adding a little extra flour!.
Meanwhile add all veggies and bay leaf to a soup or crock pot!. Add the meat when it is done frying, add all the flour drippings as well!.
