A Mayonnaise style sauce for pasta?!
I want to make a sauce using fresh made mayonnaise as a sauce for pasta!. Thinking of using garlic and onion in addition to normal home made mayonnaise, using precooked pasta, mixing and baking it!. Any comments welcome!. Pro or Con !Www@FoodAQ@Com

I take it all you want to do is make an emulsion!. Bad thing they do not hold up to heat well they tend to break and separate!.
You can try hollindaise or BearnaiseWww@FoodAQ@Com

I also recommend that you not do this, as the mayo will separate ~ that's never a "good thing" ;) If you are sold on using mayo, I have included it in a casserole or two along with a cream type soup (mushroom, chicken, etc!.)!. Again, mayo alone will most likely lead you to eating alone ~ do not believe it to be "doable"!.
Go for the cheese sauce (white sauce with cheese added, and a bit of wine if that is up your alley)!. Better yet, cheese sauce with a bit of steamed veggies (Broccoli/Cauliflower are my favorites with pasta, but a mix can also be nice)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Old Mister Happy, mayo!? Sad to say you will be sorry, you can go maybe a simplified carbonara!. The first guy is telling you, I am telling you, and the lady is telling you!. Don't do it!.
