Question: My uncle made a cake and the icing won't stay on!!?
The icing keeps getting absorbed by the cake!. how do i keep it on the surface!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like one of 2 things, either the cake is too hot, or the icing is more of a glaze!. If it's pretty thin and runny, add more confectioner's sugar to stiffen it up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Like the past two people have stated "The cake is still to hot" let it cool all the way before adding icing!. The heat will begin to melt the icing since its mainly sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Refrigerate cake, thicken or tighten up icing w/ more xxx sugarWww@FoodAQ@Com
