What's a good recipe to use with shrimp?!
I have some extra shrimp left over from a Jambalaya recipe (between 10 and 20) and I'm wondering what to do with them!.
I'm in the mood for shrimp, but I never really ate shrimp enough to know how to make it!. They are pre-cooked already, but what recipe is good for shrimp!? I really liked the spicy shrimp at Applebees, or coconut shrimp!.
What's a good recipe to use for shrimp!? In your opinion!. I don't have many shrimp, so nothing spectacular!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't really have any RECIPES in my mind, but there are plenty of dishes you can just use a search engine or foodnetwork site to look up:
Cocktail Shrimp (simple, very good, can make sauce quick too)
Shrimp Creole (got the spicy aspect, might like if you like Jambalaya)
Shrimp Fried Rice (Easy, and you can mix in other meat too if you don't have enough shrimp, called Hunan Fried Rice i think)
Teriaki Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, Coconut Shrimp (all involve marinating in some sort of material, whether it be wet and grilling them, or dry and frying them!. Overall these are probably the simplest and easiest for best return of pre-cooked shrimp in my preference =D)!.
Hope this helps, sry bout not including recipe but it's best to look around, see what things you'd want in the recipe, rather than me rant on about just 1 or two specific ones =P!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make Ceviche (Say-vee-chay) and it's really easy!.
Cooked Shrimp cut into pieces
1/4-1/2 bunch Cilantro-chopped
1/4-1/2 Onion or 1 small onion-diced
2-3 Tomatoes-diced
3-4 limes
Salt and pepper
Stir everything together!. The reason for more or less on the ingredients, is how much or how big of each ingredient!. It's really all about the shrimp!. You can eat by itself or with chips!. Oh, and if you don't like a ton of lime, I would start out with one, and taste!. Add more if there isn't much lime taste!.
Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shrimp quesadillas
you just need to adjust the ingredients since you only have 10 to 20 shrimp
30-40 precooked medium sized shrimp
10 tortillas
1 green pepper
1 red pepper (if you don't have a red pepper, 2 green peppers work fine)
2 large sized yellow or white onion
1 packet of taco or fajita seasoning
2 to 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 to 3 tablespoons of canola oil
Spray canola oil
Recipe Directions:
Fill a large bowl with warm water and add shrimp!. Let shrimp dethaw for approximately 10 to 15 minutes!. If they are still partially frozen, drain some of the water off and add warmer water to complete the dethawing process
Remove shrimp from water and place on 2 layered paper towels to drain
Cut shrimp into small chunks, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch large
Chop green and red pepper and onion into thin strips approximately 1/4 inch thick
Place pepper and onions in a fry pan!. Drizzle with canola oil and add packet of taco or fajita seasoning
Heat and stir on medium high heat until soft
Spray a griddle or fry pan with canola spray and heat on medium high heat for a minute or so
Add 1 or 2 tortillas (if using a griddle you may be able to add 2 tortillas) and sprinkle with cheddar cheese
When cheese is almost melted through, add a thin layer of peppers, onions, and shrimp!. Make sure the layer is thin, yet covers the whole tortilla
Sprinkle the top with another layer of cheddar cheese and heat for a few minutes!. Check the bottom tortilla to determine when to flip the tortilla!.
When the bottom tortilla turns light brown, flip the tortilla and heat for an additional 2 to 3 minutes
