Question: Twenty five dollars a week budget for food!!?
I need to eat healthy, and I cannot spend more than 25 dollars a week on food (this is just for me!.)

Can you help me with healthy recipes that are super cheap and easy!?

$25 is not a lot of money but if you clip coupons and buy generic brand items, that'll help save some money!. also, check your local area for churches or volunteer places that may give out free or discounted food!. First, I would stock up on pantry item things like peanut butter, canned veggies, soups, and fruits, ramen noodles, pasta roni, tuna fish, rice, etc!. Then every week you will just need to buy things like milk, eggs, bread, etc!. If you are only buying food for yourself, then buy family size packages of chicken, pork chops, etc and wrap them individually and freeze them!. That way when you are ready to eat, all you need to do is take one out, thaw it, and cook just one piece at a time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're going to have to do some major sale shopping!. Look for produce and meats that are on special or in season!. When buying frozen veggies, there are usually instructions on the back of the bag but you can always just steam them in a microwave safe bowl with a lid!.!.!.no need to add water as the ice on the veggies will help cook them!. Season with sea salt, pepper and a little spray butter!.

One of my favorite ways to season steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots is with lemon pepper!. It's awesome!

Roasting veggies is a great option as well!. Just cut into 2 inch pieces, coat with a little olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and cook in a 375 degree oven!. 25 minutes for zucchini/squash, and 45 to 60 minutes for root veggies like potatoes or yams!.

You could always buy your meat in bulk as well!. Maybe save a few bucks extra for one week and splurge on a family pack of chicken breasts!. They're a better value and you can cook them a variety of ways!. Since your budget is tight, try to only splurge on one good marinade that you like or even try the packaged kind!. Be careful though cause they'll add a lot of sodium to your diet so if you're trying to go the healthy route only use the packaged marinade occationally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Steam your vegetables, buy stuff for salads, buy the big 30 pack of eggs, make hard boiled eggs (for salads and to eat) and egg salad sandwiches for lunch, and poached eggs for breakfast!. We like this recipe and use salmon, tuna, chicken, and other canned meats in place of the salmon to give variety!.

well right now im eating apples and eggs for breaks fast so i would suggest buy a bag of apples which should be fairly cheap(about 5!.00, eggs, strawberries which is about 3!.00!. stay in contact with me and ill tell you more!. but for this week that should go this helps ur protein, sweets and it is healthy cuz i know apples are sweet or sour whichever way you prefer o yea oranges alog with any canned meat such as sardines or sausages also!. just these few items will not even touch your budget and another thing your not suppresing your diet cuz your eating all the requirements while cutting down on oil!. water should be free but if you feel a major need for juice try vitamin water if you buy the big bottle its about 6 dollars or so they also have the small packs 10 for ten dollars!. this might run you budget up by about 2 or 3 dollars but its coins one can find around the house!. any questions contact me aat anthonyb!.1993@comcast!.netWww@FoodAQ@Com
