What should I make for Easter side dish/Appetizer that's easy and inexpensive?!


Question: What should I make for Easter side dish/Appetizer that's easy and inexpensive!?
With no meat except maybe chicken!. Here are the other things that are being served:

1!. German dinner Strudel, that has rolled dough, potatoes and ham (Very filling)
2!. A ham
3!. Spinach dip with crackers and veggies
4!. Dessert

I want something cheap to make, easy, not too many dishes, but delicious!. I don't have a deep fryer!. There are 9 people total!. Thanks =)Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
Go get yourself a few rolls of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls!. Unroll them into one long rectangle!. Mix together one pkg!. of brick cream cheese softened and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese!. Spread that on half of the rectangle!. Add some cut up red and yellow peppers, fold the rectangle over so you have like one big log then cut into little squares!. Sprinkle the tops with parmesan cheese and bake for 20 mins at 350!. SO DELICIOUS!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pasta salad

Get a box of Suddenly Pasta Salad
follow the instructions on the box

Add:
Get a bag of vegetable medley
-broccoli
-carrots
-colly flower
half a cucumber
(all cut into smaller pieces)
grape tomatoes cut in half
sliced black olives

whip cream, bag of chip cookies, dip cookies in milk put it in the whip cream, no mixing it its yummy and 123 and cheap if u get the cookies on saleWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well, I think you need a veggie with the meal so I would suggest!.!.!.




Classic Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:
2 pkgs frozen green beans, thawed, (10 ounce each)
3/4 cup milk
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, or cream of celery
salt and pepper, to taste
1 1/2 cups French-Fried onions
Preparation:
In a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine all ingredients except 3/4 cup of French-fried onions!. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes!. Top with remaining French-fried onions!. Bake 5 minutes, or until onions are golden!. Serves 6!.


And if you want to add on a salad, try something different!. This ramen noodle salad gives Ramen a whole new flavor, its so good!



CABBAGE RAMEN NOODLE SALAD

1/2 head cabbage, finely chopped
4 green onions, chopped
1 pkg!. Top Ramen noodles (beef or chicken), crumbled
1/2 c!. sliced almonds
1 pkg!. sunflower seeds (optional)

Mix together except the noodles and refrigerate a few hours!.

DRESSING:

2 tbsp!. sugar
3 tbsp!. vinegar
1/2 c!. salad oil
1/2 tsp!. pepper
Flavor packet from the noodles

and in the future (or in addition to you other dessert), this jello salad is really unique but surprisingly delicious lol


STRAWBERRY PRETZEL JELLO SALAD

2 c!. crushed pretzel sticks
3/4 c!. melted butter
3 tbsp!. sugar
8 oz!. cream cheese
1 c!. sugar
8 oz!. Cool Whip
1 (6 oz!.) pkg!. strawberry banana Jello
2 c!. boiling water
2 (10 oz!.) pkgs!. frozen strawberries, partially thawed

Mix first three ingredients and press in bottom of a 9"x13" pan!. Bake at 350 degrees (metal pan) or 325 degrees (glass pan) 8 minutes!. Let cool completely!. Beat 1 cup sugar and cream cheese!. Fold in Cool Whip!. Spread over pretzels!. Mix Jello and water until dissolved!. Add strawberries!. Stir into Jello, then set aside for 10 minutes!. Pour over cheese mixture!. Chill!.
