Where can i learn to cook more professionally?!
i love to cook and everyone i cook for tells me i have a gift!. even my pb&j sandwiches come out better then regular!. (according to my brothers, and boyfriend) sometimes in the middle of the night, an idea will sip through my head and ill wake up and cook, i come up with my own recipes and everything!. I would love to go to a culinary school, but i already am in college full time!. me learning to cook would be more of something to do around holidays instead of for a living!. where can i learn to improve my skills!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree on just finding some cooking classes!. Cheaper and no commitment!. Culinary schools are costing about $50,000 in tuition, now!. I would just search for classes in your area!. Have fun!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
food network probably, they seem to have some good shows!.
i watch good eats for some scientific analysis
barefoot contessa for simple but delicious meals
the ultimate with tyler florence for instructional almost
i dont watch anything that cooks in 30 minutes or less and has pasta as a frequent item

The answer to this probably depends where you live!. Often times gourmet cooking supply stores will offer classes, you might also look into community education or night classes for cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well since your in college and college drains people of money to do anything extra like go to culinary school, like yourself i love to cook and want to go to culinary school, but your best bet is just to have friends over for dinner a couple times a week so you can explore more of the recipes you make up!. And if they are true friends they'll give you good feedback!. also, if maybe yours friends invite u over and they're parents or someone who's cooked for a while is there, volunteer to help cook and you'll be amazed at what you'll learn just but watched elders cook!. My grandma, god rest her soul, taught me just about everything I know in cooking!. So, until your time for culinary school comes, you should just do what you can to be around other cooks and remember, whenever you have the chance to get a recipe from an older person, TAKE IT, because there's not many old recipes left that older generations want handed down!. But for now, just show people what your capable of making and sharing!. also remember, we learn something new everyday!. I hope that helped!.
