Question: Healthy, Delicious Homemade Snacks!?
I'm trying to cut back on the junk food and eat healthier!. I love to cook so anything that is simple that I can make after school for a snack would be great! Does anyone know a healthy, delicious homemade snack!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

i love to create new salads!. try using nuts in them or garbanzo beans!.
if salad isn't your thing, fresh veggies and fruit are always safe and easy!. a good healthy recipe!?
i like to take those triscut crackers and put a slice of tomato and sprinkle some garlic powder, and just a tiny bit of shredded cheese-pop it in the microwave or oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese!.!.!.!.tasty-so many different varieties too, they make a ton of different flavored crackers and you can try different cheeses or sauces or veggies on the crackers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

peanut butter
and raisons

mandrin oranges
pears
bananas
nuts

you could have apples and peanut butter
celery and peanut butter
cheese and crackers
a little bowl of a healthy cereal or with yogurt
or a salad

HUMMUS! with pita, bread, cucumbers, anything that you can dip!

my hummus recipe consists of draining a can of chickpeas, and putting it through the food processor with a couple cloves of garlic, s&p, and olive oil!.

Mini turkey sandwich with a toothpick in it

Ingredients:
9 grain bread
deli cut turkey
choice of cheese
(sauce if you want)

Set it up like a sand witch cut it into fourths and put a toothpick in it!. eat one every little while as a snackWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yogurt and mandarin oranges! (vanilla or pineapple/coconut yogurt)
or yogurt and granola
fruit
high fiber crackers and cheese
Baked Tostitos and salsa
