Is a crepe just a skinny pancake?!
And can I make some just using runny pancake batter!? Or is it more complicated!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
it uses melted butter and after you mix all the ingredients you have to sit it out for at least an hour before cooking it!.
melted butter gives it more aroma and its gives it its chewiness and more dense,
compare to pancakes that is more fluffy and dry!.
ive never tried it using a pancake batter!.
but if you want you could add melted butter to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

a crepe is more of an egg with a little four, it doesn't have as much baking soda, so it doesn't get so fluffy!. or rise!. there is a differnce and no you can't take pancake mix and make it more runny 4 a crepe sorryWww@FoodAQ@Com
Crepe batter also does not have any baking powder or baking soda added!. Using thinned out pancake batter would not be the same!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, it's just a thin pancake, but when you put a leavening agent in the mix, you won't get the same thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's got more egg and no leavening!. But if you don't mind being inauthentic, you can try that for a different experience!. ∠°)Www@FoodAQ@Com
